Almost 2...

Yeap, Brandon will be 2 years old next month. We are planning to do a small party for him. Maybe just family, or maybe will invite some friends with children around his age.

He is getting cheekier now. He learns to complain and tells me what the grandma does or what the cousin sister Jessene does. He wants to talk but cant pronounce the words properly. He calls himself Anand Yak when he means Brandon Yap. I guess he doesnt know how to pronounce the 1st syllabus properly. Heem....friends with older children tells me they will grow out of it.

Grandma told me he make fun of Jessene when she cries for her mummy. I guess Brandon learns all these from the adults. He acts like one. He likes to bring alot of his favourite CDs to the room when its his bedtime, so once the grandma caught him holding a few and ask him sternly " why take so many?" although he gives back the least favourite ones but he kept the one that he like best. When he is in the room, settling down to sleep, he made fun of his grandma's voice. Like he will do it in a high pitch voice repeating " why take so many?"...haha. i din catch him at first, but after he repeats a few times, then i catch what he says and i laughed. he laughs with me cause its like he made a joke, and repeats it a few times. I think he was proud that he could make his mummy laughs.

Daddy is the more serious one for him but he is not afraid of his dad. To me, he kinda bully his daddy. Daddy will also play with him but wont be too crazy like the mummy. Maybe when he is older he will tag me as the crazy and fun mummy. haha.

So now, he is talking, like i said earlier. He will be mumbling something which we dont understand . But i will pretend to understand what he says so to encourage him to talk more. We are planning to send him to school next year. Im having a mixed feeling. I want him to be independent, I want him to socialised and learn from play. But I also worried that it might be too young to send him to school. Like, he is climbing up and down, and at home, there's kakak and grandma to say no and be careful. But in school? hemm...i wonder...but we have to learn to let him go too. So its either now, or later when its harder.

Anyway, he has to grow up. So, am searching for the safest school for him. Wish me luck!!
